Application management provider
G3G has partnered with hybrid cloud provider Symmetry. G3G, which has headquarters in Camberley, Surrey, United Kingdom and a presence in South Africa, was established in 1999. The company specializes in SAP solutions and services that “empower organizations to streamline operations and reduce IT costs”. An SAP Technology partner, G3G offers a range of cost effective ‘fast-track’ tools that minimize disruption for rapid implementation of SAP S/4HANA, both in the cloud or at its customers’ locations. G3G will work with Symmetry on ‘SAP cloud hosting services’.
Symmetry bills itself as “a leading applications management and hybrid cloud hosting solution provider with deep expertise in SAP application management”. The company has headquarters in Brookfield, Wisconsin, United States, and was established in 1996. It has been an SAP partner since 2005 and achieved certification for SAP hosting, cloud and SAP HANA operations. Symmetry's ‘SAP-optimised’ hybrid cloud platform (which promises 99.999% uptime and is delivered across five global hosting locations) was one of the key reasons G3G selected Symmetry as a cloud hosting services partner. Together the two companies will target United Kingdom-based companies that deploy cloud-based SAP solutions.
"Our partnership with Symmetry ensures that our customers receive the best available technical and functional managed services at both the application and infrastructure layers, so they are not forced to pick one and sacrifice the other," explained G3G’s Senior Regional Director, Europe, Stacey White. "As more of our customers look to migrate their SAP applications to the cloud, Symmetry represents a global cloud services partner with deep expertise in managing and optimising public, private and hybrid cloud infrastructure to SAP's unique performance and reliability requirements."
"Enterprises embarking on digital transformation initiatives are looking for deep expertise from their managed services partners to help them design, migrate and manage their SAP applications across diverse cloud infrastructures – especially as they move to SAP HANA and S/4HANA," added Symmetry’s Chief Marketing Officer, Kurt Andersen. "G3G is the ideal UK partner as we share a common DNA of deep SAP expertise, technical innovation and customer-centric agility that differentiates our partnership from large consulting integrators or generic cloud players."
