NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com) has completed its acquisition of mission critical application hosting provider Secure-24 Intermediate Holdings, Inc. (Secure-24). NTT Com, is one of the NTT Group of companies with headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. The company offers a diverse range of information and communication technology and services.
NTT Com specializes in the areas of the cloud, hosting, private networks, and IP networking services. It also offers “industry leadership in IPv6 transit technology”. Its IT infrastructure takes in low-latency private networks, Ethernet VPN, and Tier1 global IP backbone networks. It also offers consultancy services. Its “100% acquisition of Secure-24” is “effective immediately”.
Secure-24 is one of the United States’ key providers of managed services. With headquarters in Southfield, Michigan, United States, the company was established in 2001. Alongside managed cloud services it offers SAP hosting, disaster recovery options, Oracle services, and managed security services alongside Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud options.
As managed services are key to NTT’s global growth strategies, its acquisition of Secure-24 will enable the group to “strengthen their global capabilities to help enterprise customers effectively operate and maintain a wide range of enterprise applications such as SAP and Oracle”.
“This acquisition brings the unparalleled service levels, application expertise, security and compliance support of Secure-24 to the global NTT community," explained Secure-24’s CEO Mike Jennings in a press release.
