CloudRecover and cloud backup software provider Asigra Inc. (Asigra) have formed a partnership. CloudRecover, which has headquarters in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, was established in 1999. With “9 petabytes of data under management”, the company offers a wide range of managed solutions including business continuity and data preservation services alongside fully hosted and managed infrastructure options. Its partnership with Asigra will see the two companies offer “compelling backup solutions using world-class data centers in Australia”.
Asigra, which was established in 1986, has headquarters in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The award-winning company prides itself on cloud backup and recovery expertise and its proprietary Asigra Cloud Backup solution protects more a million websites globally. It is this solution which is now available to CloudRecover’s new and existing customers. The partnerships allows CloudRecover to backup and recover customers’ “virtual and physical machines, desktops and laptops” and “mobile devices and cloud platforms such as AWS and Office 365” using a single data protection solution with a central administrative dashboard.
CloudRecover is underpinned by an expert support team and will deliver Asigra’s Cloud Backup and Recovery Software as a fully managed service with a “simple and transparent pricing model”. The system offers an ‘agentless backup architecture’ using data centers across Australia. It is also PCI-compliant, offering 256-bit encryption.
