Acronis has announced the launch of new cloud backup solutions earmarking Middle Eastern markets. The company, which has headquarters in Burlington, Massachusetts, USA, operates data centers globally in countries that include Australia, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Russia and Singapore. It offers a range of services that address the need for "effective backup and disaster recovery programs for critical data" in the cloud and helps customers "migrate, protect and recover critical data" with solutions that make managing cloud data storage less burdensome.
The company's solution, the Acronis Backup Cloud, is an offsite backup and disaster recovery solution that facilitates local and hybrid data backups and both local and cloud data recovery. With advanced SSL encryption of management channels alongside "in-transit and at-rest AES256 data encryption", the service provides world class security. In addition, it offers service providers the opportunity to "sell, manage and deliver high value data protection and backup capabilities" and establish additional revenue channels. Acronis' new scalable solution offers full backup capabilities for Windows and Linux physical and virtual servers and workstations and a payment model that allows users to pay only for resources utilized.
Alongside the Acronis Backup Cloud, The Acronis Backup Service provides a data protection solution that is highly usable and facilitates backups from all manner of sources, as well as restoration to "any destination and system". It allows users full control of data in "virtual, physical, cloud, and mobile environments" through a single web-based interface. Backups are made to Acronis’ data centers and the system allows users to recover "entire systems" or "individual files and hard disks".
