Benjamin Stein has joined the Board of Directors of global cloud networking provider
GTT Communications, Inc. (GTT). GTT has global headquarters in McLean, Virginia, United States alongside offices in London, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, and several other cities globally. The company is “redefining global communications to serve a cloud-based future”. A ‘Fortune Future 50’, it offers a full suite of cloud networking services through its own Tier 1 Internet network.
Established in 1998, GTT offers a broad range of services that include ethernet and IP Transit solutions alongside managed security and cloud networking solutions, and other Internet services. GTT also offers ‘Managed Secure Access’ and unified communications options. Mr. Stein’s move to the company’s Board of Directors was announced at the company’s 2019 annual meeting.
Mr Stein is the co-founder and managing partner of The Spruce House Partnership which owns around 22% of GTT’s stock. He also sits of the board of real estate services company Colliers International and ‘The Africa Center’ in New York, United States. He has a BA in ‘International Relations’ from the University of Pennsylvania.
“I’m grateful for the invitation to stand for election to the board of directors of GTT,” suggested Mr. Stein in a statement. “We have tremendous respect for what this management team and senior leadership have built over the past decade and the value they have created for shareholders. GTT is still in its early days and has the right strategy to take advantage of the very large opportunity ahead.”
