March 9, 2005 - (HOSTSEARCH.COM) - TransAKT Corp announced today that it has entered into an agreement to purchase TrilliumPC Network Solutions Inc.
Trillium, which was established in 2000 in Vancouver, British Columbia, specializes in providing computer and network services to the small to medium size business community.
Trillium designs and builds its own brand of servers, desktops and notebook computer systems known as the "Trillium PC" brand. Trillium also offers a variety of services including on site support, installations, web site development, networks services, web hosting, computer repairs, and consulting.
Daniel Pomerleau, President of TransAKT, states "We see this as another strategic acquisition for the Company that will add an immediate positive impact by providing significantly increased cash flow, a key component to the overall success of the Company. TransAKT already uses the computer systems supplied by Trillium for its VoIP business and has been reselling Trillium products to customers purchasing VoIP equipment. Trillium's distribution channels will also provide another means for the Company to market its VoIP products and services. In addition, the technical expertise of the Trillium team will greatly enhance the Company's resource pool allowing it to meet the anticipated growth for TransAKT Corp this year."
