June 1, 2005
June 1, 2005 - (HOSTSEARCH.COM) - Business communications and collaboration solutions firm, BlueTie, today announced that its President and CEO, David Koretz, has recently participated as a final round judge for the SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise) USA awards in Kansas City.

SIFE is a non-profit organization that gives students the tools to learn the free enterprise system in a real working situation. SIFE challenges students on more than 800 college campuses nationwide to take what they're learning in the classroom and use their knowledge to better their communities.

Mr. Koretz joined CEOs from leading companies like Walmart, Rich Products, Radio Shack and Monster Cable, in evaluating the finalists competing to be the SIFE USA National Champion for 2005.

“I am honored to have been asked to participate in this event dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship,” said Mr. Koretz. “These students have spent the better part of the last year creating economic opportunity within their communities – it’s been a pleasure to help bring additional recognition to the participants of this outstanding program.”

The SIFE overall competition provided the 900 SIFE Teams the opportunity to compete for more than $400,000 in prize money and national recognition. Each team was judged on its impact in improving the quality of life and standard of living for members of its community through free enterprise education.

The SIFE USA National Exposition took place May 22-24, 2005 in Kansas City, MO. Please visit www.sife.org for winners and further information.
