Braham Singh has been appointed Senior Vice President (SVP), Global Product Management at Reliance Communications (RCOM) and the company's
Global Cloud Xchange (GCX) subsidiary. The companies, both part of the Reliance Group, have headquarters in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Mr. Singh will oversee RCOM India Enterprise and GCX's products. He will also manage the company’s National Long Distance (NLD) and Data Center businesses.
Will 118 million customers (including around 2.5 million overseas retail customers) Reliance Communications is recognized as "India’s foremost and truly integrated telecommunications service provider". The company caters to around "290 global, regional and domestic carriers" as well as enterprises of all sizes. Global Cloud Xchange (GCX) caters to "carriers, enterprises and new media companies" through the world’s largest private undersea cable system - which is around 67,000 kilometers long. Mr Singh will be responsible for RCOM India Enterprise and GCX's global product portfolio. In addition, he will also manage the companies’ National Long Distance (NLD) and Data Center businesses.
Mr. Singh is a 30-year telecommunications veteran and was previously Hutchison Global Communications' Vice President and Senior Advisor for International Business. “Braham is highly regarded within the industry for his knowledge in building and rolling out innovative product suites across global markets,” explained Reliance Communications (Enterprise) and Global Cloud Xchange's Chief Executive Officer, Bill Barney. “With his deep industry experience and impressive track record, Braham will further elevate our strategy and ability to innovate, bringing our customers best in class products and services to further support their growth ambitions.”
