Mr. Brian Dye has joined cloud, networking and virtualization technologies provider
Citrix as Mobile Platforms Group Vice President and General Manager. Citrix offers a range of products that help businesses with staff that are on the move. The company’s solutions offer workspaces that are accessible through any mobile device, through any network, and in the cloud. The company caters to a broad customer base that includes 330,000 organizations globally and Mr. Dye will be responsible for managing and growing the company’s entire mobility business. He brings a wealth of experience to his new role.
Mr. Dye will oversee the company’s Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) and Mobile Device Management (MDM) activity from the company’s Santa Clara offices. Part of his focus will be on XenMobile, a key element of the Citrix Mobile Workspace Suite. Prior to joining Citrix Mr. Dye was Senior Vice President for the Information Security Group at Symantec, where he held a range of executive positions over a 10-year period. These positions were in a range of areas including support and operations, product management, and engineering. Prior to this he also held positions at Xerox PARC, Procter and Gamble, and E Ink.
“Brian’s strong qualifications in security and information management, including data mobility, are uniquely suited to further our customers’ mobility priorities,” explained Sudhakar Ramakrishna, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Enterprise and Service Provider Division at Citrix. “He will provide great value to all of our customers, helping them succeed in a time when secure enterprise mobility is transforming how business is done”.
