British Data Center and Colocation Company IP House Selects the EcoStruxure IT DCIM Platform
British data center and colocation company IP House has selected the EcoStruxure IT cloud-based ‘Data Center Infrastructure Management’ (DCIM) platform to monitor its facility. IP House, which has headquarters in London, the UK capital, has “over 20 years of experience and knowledge working with industry leading brands” but has recently entered the UK’s colocation market with a team “fully equipped to provide a premier colocation service”. The company operates an ISO-accredited facility which was built to Tier III standards and is located close to London’s financial district. The facility will offer a total of 512 racks when launched. Provided by Schneider Electric, the EcoStruxure IT solution will give IP House the ability to view all critical data center assets in real-time.

Schneider Electric, which has headquarters in Rueil-Malmaison, France, provides digital transformation services for data centers and has a presence in more than 100 countries. The company is recognized as a leader in power management and offers a number of solutions that combine “energy, automation and software” to improve data center efficiency. Its EcoStruxure IT solution is designed to mitigate risk and reduce downtime. It is “the industry's first vendor-neutral Data Center Management-as-a-Service (DMaaS) architecture” designed for hybrid IT and data center environments.

"During the planning stages we chose to utilize software from an industry-leading vendor. One that had a reputation for innovation and a focus on continual improvement," said Vinny Vaghani, Operations and Commercial Manager, IP House. "One of the biggest drivers for selecting EcoStruxure IT was its vendor-neutrality and ability to integrate with different products and provide detailed data in a single dashboard. As a colocation provider we have to adhere to the highest standards of uptime and resiliency, monitoring and management is therefore an absolute necessity for our customers."
