British Host Storm Internet Launches StormCloud Private
British web host Storm Internet has launched StormCloud Private - an "innovative private cloud solution". The Witney, Oxfordshire-based company was established in 2004 with a focus on enabling smaller sized companies to benefit from the Internet through "managed cloud servers and web hosting solutions". The company won the UK's “Best SME Hosting” award in 2013 and “Best Dedicated Hosting” award in 2014. Its 100% UK-based offerings also include dedicated servers email solutions. StormCloud Private will enable its customers to benefit from the "flexibility, scalability and reliability of the cloud" at very competitive costs.

StormCloud Private is a response to Storm Internet's customer feedback and aims to reduce Private Cloud costs and enable customers to release products and critical applications more quickly. The company has made a significant R&D investment into its new solution which will allow customers to securely and cost-effectively host multiple servers.

“One of the main features of StormCloud Private is that you can create Windows and Linux Virtual Machines (VMs) on demand, within minutes and without needing to pay extra per VM," explained Storm Internet's Founder and CEO Salim Benadel. "Customers can easily grow their cloud by simply adding in new parent servers as required, meaning seamless expansion becomes an affordable reality. This allows our clients to cut back on hardware expenses and the costs associated with a dedicated server”.
