Canadian " upstart" web host
CleverHost has announced the launch of a new range of SSL certificates. The London, Ontario, Canada-based company offers Comodo SSL certificates with free installation for CleverHost web hosting customers.
Established in late 2012, CleverHost offers a range of shared and reseller hosting options. The company has seen considerable growth since its formal launch in January 2013. It offers a solid range of certificates, including Comodo PositiveSSL, Comodo EssentialSS, Comodo InstantSSL, and Comodo EV SSL. To deter threats, CleverHost SSL certificates provide 4096-bit RSA keys by default, while 1024-bit and 2048-bit keys are also available. The company also offers discount Wildcard and UCC/SAN certificates including 128/256 bit encryption and unlimited re-issuances.
“It is our goal to ensure our hosting customers have everything they need to get started. Customers on our Super Clever plan are also entitled to a free Comodo PositiveSSL certificate, ensuring they get value for their money," explained CleverHost's President, Xavier Furtado. "While we're not looking to be a cost leader, CleverHost has determined we can offer SSL certificates at terrific rates, so that is exactly what we're doing! We also wanted to extend the offer to non-hosting customers, which is something some of our competition prefers not to do."
