October 11, 2005 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Bill Campbell, CEO of web hosting service provider Hostopia has received an award at the regional level of Ernst & Young’s global ‘Entrepreneur of the Year 2005’ competition.
Mr Campbell’s award was for a CEO at a company in the Information Technology business category. He was named alongside individuals in eleven categories representing Ontario's most successful entrepreneurs. Submissions for the award were judged by an independent panel including distinguished Canadian business leaders and previous award recipients.
At an awards ceremony held in Toronto on the 6th of October Mr Campbell suggested, "I was very surprised to be singled out for this honor. Hostopia's team members are the real winners, and my partners John Nemanic, Colin Campbell, and Franc Nemanic deserve a huge share of this recognition. We've come a very long way from an upstart challenger in 1999 to the global leader in our business category today. Our team of dedicated staff and management in Toronto, Ft.
