Channel-only Provider Green Cloud to Begin Offering Cisco Powered IaaS with Cisco Intercloud Fabric Solutions
Channel-only provider Green Cloud is to begin offering Cisco Powered Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) integrated with Cisco Intercloud Fabric Solutions. The company, which has headquarters in Greenville, South Carolina, USA, offers its channel partners (value-added resellers, managed service providers, and technology providers) turnkey IaaS solutions. The move gives Green Cloud's partners access to a range of "highly scalable" hybrid cloud solutions and the ability to "expand their private cloud by utilizing Green Cloud’s public cloud on demand, with equivalent security measures in both environments".

Intercloud offers secure cloud services which are underpinned by a highly secure cloud platform and available globally. It allows standalone clouds to integrate to establish a "globally connected network of clouds" with a strong focus on the Internet of Everything (IoE), which Cisco defines as "the networked connection of people, process, data, and things" where "connectedness" brings “everything” online. Designated as a Cisco Cloud and Managed Services Program (CMSP) provider, Green Cloud will receive full Intercloud integration later in 2015.

“As the Internet of Everything (IoE) continues to evolve, our partner’s demand the most secure and highly scalable solution available,” explained Shay Houser, Green Cloud Technologies' CEO. “Integrating Cisco’s Intercloud Fabric within our architecture allows partners to provide the most distinguished and innovative infrastructure solution to date.”
