Citrix has appointed enterprise computing solutions provider
Arrow Electronics Inc. to expand its European SaaS solution portfolio channel. Arrow will be Citrix’s first European-wide distributor and Citrix’s SaaS products will be available through the company’s ArrowSphere cloud services platform.
Arrow’s resellers will now be able to sell Citrix’s SaaS solutions through ArrowSphere’s white-label webstore. Established in July 2012, the ArrowSphere webstore platform is available in the United Kingdom, Denmark, France, Germany and Spain, and will also be made available on other European markets.
Citrix’s solutions are designed to enable people to collaborate in a number of locations and enable service providers to leverage virtualisation and networking technologies to deliver cloud services. Citrix solutions are used by around 100 million worldwide, and the company’s 2012 annual revenue was $2.59 billion.
The collaboration between Citrix and Arrow is part of an ongoing expansion of the Citrix SaaS Advisor (CSSA) program. Launched in May of this year, the program enables regional partners to benefit from ‘resell and referral rewards’ programs for Citrix’s SaaS collaboration products, which include GoToMeeting, GoToWebinar, GoToTraining, GoToAssist, GoToMyPC and Podio.
The program provides the company’s channel partners with access to Citrix SaaS advisors who offer channel partners marketing resources and insight into best practices. Extended API support is also available to integrate Citrix online services into its partners’ infrastructures.
Alongside the Citrix Solution Advisor (CSA) scheme, the CSSA programme is part of the Citrix Global Channel Program which aims to enable the company’s partners to deal with the increased rate at which cloud services are now being utilized across Europe and help them bring new customers to Citrix solutions.
“We selected Arrow and its ArrowSphere webstore platform because of the highly innovative approach to taking our SaaS products to their reseller and customer community,” explained Citrix’s VP and General Manager EMEA for SaaS Products, Robert Gratzl. “The ArrowSphere platform allows resellers to customise their webstore or customer view to match the look and feel of their own individual company or brand.”
