Cloud and Data Center Migration Company AppZero Joins Microsoft Enterprise Cloud Alliance
Cloud and data center migration company AppZero has joined the Microsoft Enterprise Cloud Alliance. The company, which has offices in Andover, Massachusetts, USA and Ottawa, Canada, bills itself as a “fast, flexible way to move (Windows Server) applications to and across any cloud or datacenter, without code change or lock-in”.

AppZero’s proprietary software shifts “complex server applications” from “any source machine – physical or virtual” to the cloud and also allows users to “move from an old OS to a newer one, with the click of a button”. Its Virtual Application Appliance (VAA) offers two solutions for Microsoft Azure - SaaS portal AppZero SP for Azure, and Azure Certified AppZero SP for Azure. In light of Windows Server 2003 reaching the end of extended support, the company will provide the Microsoft Enterprise Cloud Alliance with important application migration solutions which allow users to upgrade their operating systems and transition to the cloud in a single step.

“AppZero has proven success in migrating applications to the cloud, thereby accelerating cloud adoption, explained Greg O’Connor, CEO of AppZero. “We're pleased that Microsoft has recognized this success by inviting us to join the Enterprise Cloud Alliance.”
