Cloud backup software provider
BackupAgent has launched BackupAgent Cloud, a "premium cloud backup service". Established in 2005, the company, which has headquarters in Delft, The Netherlands, is offering the service after 6 months of beta testing.
BackupAgent Cloud leverages BackupAgent's cloud backup platform which is hosted by its global network of ISO, SOC certified and HIPAA compliant datacenters in the United States, Europe and Asia. Available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux, the scalable service targets managed service providers with a private labeled service that allows them to focus on core competencies, while adding a "lucrative service" to their list of products and services.
BackupAgent Cloud offers providers' customers automated backup with advanced MS Hyper-V Server, MS Exchange Server, MS SQL Server and MySQL databases backup. A BackupAgent Partnership offers access to an "extended knowledge base" and "powerful support". Potential customers can sign up for a free BackupAgent Cloud trial.
