Cloud-based ‘business operating system’ provider
Zoho has announced the launch of ‘Zoho Checkout’. Zoho, which has headquarters in Pleasanton, California, United States, was established in 1996. The company offers “beautifully smart software” to help businesses grow. Its suite of online applications are free for individuals and available on subscription basis for businesses and other organizations.
Zoho’s suite has 20 million users globally and offers email and collaboration apps. As such the solution provides competition for cloud-based solutions like GSuite and Office 365. However, it also offers apps that are designed for sales and marketing including CRM, sales and survey solutions alongside apps for sales campaigns. The addition of Zoho Checkout allows users to simplify managing payments.
Part of the ‘Zoho Finance Suite’, Zoho Checkout benefits businesses of a range of sizes by allowing them to establish secure, customized checkout pages without requiring technical expertise. The solution offers “flexible payment options, real-time analytics, and customizable design” and provides robust data security with SSL encryption and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliance. It is integrated with Stripe, WePay, and Razorpay for payments and also integrated with MailChimp. Two plans - ‘Standard’ and ‘Professional’ - are available at $9 and $29 per month.
“A secure, reliable online payments solution is critical to managing the cash flow of businesses and e-commerce companies of all sizes,” explained Zoho’s Chief Evangelist, Raju Vegesna. “We built Zoho Checkout to be simple enough for small businesses to use by sending links for payment, but also scalable enough to offer larger companies the ability to easily customize their payments page with consistent branding.”
