Cloud, colocation, and data center advisor Wired Real Estate Group Inc. (WiredRE) has been chosen to represent
Kao Park in the United States. Kao Park, located near London in Harlow, Essex, United Kingdom, is the initial stage of the Harlow Enterprise Zone – a UK government led project that aims to establish 24 “Enterprise Zones” across England.
Kao Park's Enterprise Zone has three sections (including a data center “campus”) and it also offers 215,000 square feet of office space. It is promoted by Harlow Council and offers tax and planning incentives that aim to stimulate the UK’s business growth. Wired Real Estate Group Inc. ("WiredRE") is to “elevate” Kao Park's data center’s presence across America.
WiredRE bills itself as the United States’ “leading independent cloud, colocation, and data center advisor”. The company’s proprietary research approach allows them to advise companies on strategy, planning, brokerage, and financing projects. Its customers include top telecom companies and US banks.
"Kao Park is a great example of a public-private partnership that unlocks investment, leading to economic growth and job creation," explained Kao Data’s Director, Mr. David Bloom. "We've turned an underutilized site into a business and technology center that will preserve the sites rich telecommunications, media and technology heritage."
