Cloud Company Amsiso Acquires IT Support Company Yellowspring
Cloud company Amsiso has acquired IT support provider Yellowspring. The company, which has headquarters in London, United Kingdom, offers a range of cloud, datacenter and IT Infrastructure-as-a-Service offerings. It prides itself on being able to bring together the "best in class technologies and deliver them from the cloud reliably, securely and in a highly cost effective manner". The company's purchase of Yellowspring was described as "a logical strategic fit," by its Director, Richard Keyms. "Our core audience is the same and our combined product and service offering will allow both parties to deliver a more comprehensive service offering," he added.

With headquarters in Basildon, Essex, United Kingdom, Yellowspring delivers "effective IT support to businesses throughout London, Essex and the South East" of the United Kingdom. The company has been in operation since 2000 and specializes in providing "premise-based IT services and solutions to small- and medium-sized businesses". The merger gives Yellowspring the advantage of a London-based office, hugely increasing its opportunities.

"The merged businesses will allow us to improve the level of service we offer our existing customers, as well as opening new opportunities in the buoyant Cloud Computing market in London," suggested Yellowspring's Managing Director, Jason Snooks. "We're looking forward to working with the Amsiso management team and leveraging their expertise in hosted and managed services."
