Cloud computing and data center operator OFFSITE
has upgraded connectivity for its customers. OFFSITE, which was established in 2001 and has headquarters in Kenosha, Wisconsin, United States, offers a range of data center services including private cloud services, Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), custom, dedicated and shared colocation services, disaster recovery services, network operations center (NOC) services, and hosted and managed solutions. The company prides itself on “managing data operations that include safe and secure facilities, a powerful infrastructure, industry leading technology, strategic processes, comprehensive services and data solutions expertise.” The upgrade means that customers now benefit from expanded tier-one network access with connectivity to more than 200 US-based data centers.
OFFSITE has added multiple 10 Gbps fiber connections from Level 3 Communication to cater to mid-market customers and “provide connectivity for future customers to Level 3’s network and US-based data centers”. By adding Level 3 OFFSITE’s on-net connectivity has expanded to establish a key Point of Presence (POP). It will also serve to strengthen the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) mesh.
“Evolving into a regional carrier hotel, OFFSITE is pleased to announce this expansion of our superior connectivity,” explained the Chief Executive Officer of OFFSITE, Brendan Sullivan. “We recognize Level 3 is among the most innovative tier-one carriers and this connectivity is a key differentiator for our business, as we continue to meet the needs of our mid-market customers for cloud and data center solutions,” he added. “We are committed to continuing to add carriers and circuits so we can provide an ample supply of bandwidth to help our mid-market customers grow their businesses.”Do you know of any other providers upgrading connectivity?
