Cloud Comrade has formed a partnership with cloud software platform provider Dropsuite Ltd. (Dropsuite). Cloud Comrade, which has headquarters on the island of Singapore (and a presence in Indonesia and Malaysia) was established in 2014. The company caters to businesses in Singapore and South-east Asia that have chosen to migrate their business applications to the cloud. Its cloud computing consultancy services include creating IT solutions that are tailored for its customers’ needs and built on Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) platforms. Cloud Comrade’s partnership with Dropsuite is intended to address a range of cybersecurity challenges.
Dropsuite also has headquarters in Singapore and was founded in 2012. The company “helps hundreds of thousands of businesses in 100+ countries easily backup, archive and restore their digital assets”. Its cloud software platform provides backup services for SharePoint, Office 365, Open-Xchange, Gmail and G Suite. The company has a network of partners that include big players like GoDaddy and STRATO, and its network of reseller partners “has a combined customer reach of millions of businesses worldwide”.
The partnership will see Cloud Comrade add Dropsuite’s fully-automated ‘Cloud Backup and Archiving’ option to its cloud-based managed services. Adding Dropsuite’s solution enhances Cloud Comrade’s ability to meet Singapore’s robust data compliance requirements. Financial aspects of the deal were not released.

We are excited to work with Dropsuite, a market leader in cloud backup, to help our customers implement their adoption of safeguarding strategies for their critical business data.”
