Onica has acquired Canadian provider TriNimbus Technologies (TriNimbus). Onica, which has headquarters in Santa Monica, California, United States, provides services that enable customers to operate and innovate in the cloud. A “full spectrum Amazon Web Services (AWS) integrator”, the company offers companies migration, operation and digital transformation strategies, with services that include ‘Big Data’, managed cloud services, IoT and compliance options. Onica’s acquisition of TriNimbus extends its reach to a growing Canadian market.
TriNimbus, which has headquarters in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, was established in 2013. The company specializes in cloud-based enterprise solutions for companies migrating to the cloud. An AWS reseller partner TriNimbus “architects, deploys and manages” the cloud on behalf its customers, helping them to improve performance, streamline operations and reduce IT commitments. Financial aspects of the deal have not been released.

The fit with TriNimbus is natural as both companies are aligned in so many ways. Plus, we collectively believe in the concept of mastery, and with AWS able to support any workload, there are a wealth of solutions we can enable for our customers."
