Cloud Cover Music Migrates to OaaS Provider Peak Hosting
Cloud Cover Music has migrated to "Everything but your code" Operations-as-a-Service managed hosting (OaaS) provider Peak Hosting. Cloud Cover Music, a cloud-based music streaming service, was moved to Peak Hosting’s dedicated hardware in only 3 weeks. Its service involves the streaming of music to businesses, restaurants and retail outlets that need to set the right mood for customers and clients. Its move to Peak Hosting was intended to "support growth" and provide "customers with reliable music streaming around the clock".

Peak Hosting was established in 2001 and provides a full service to customers including the building, maintenance and support of websites. The company offers OaaS options that provide data center support allowing its customers to focus on their core competencies rather than spend time on IT issues.

“Cloud Cover Music is changing how business owners get their music the same way that Netflix changed how people get their movies,” explained Peak Hosting's founder and CEO, Jeffrey Papen. “As a cloud-only company, having a reliable hosting solution is absolutely critical to Cloud Cover Music’s success, and it needed a quick migration path to a hosting solution that would give its customers’ peace of mind that their music will always be available. When we ask at Peak Hosting, ‘what’s the most we can do?’ we mean it. When Cloud Cover Music told us that they needed a hosting environment ramped up in three weeks, we rolled up our sleeves and did it.”
