Cloud giant Microsoft has made cloud services provider Crayon Software Experts India Pvt Ltd (
Crayon) a ‘Cloud Distribution Partner’. Microsoft, which has headquarters in Redmond, Washington, United States, maintains a network of partners as part of its Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program. As with other partners in the network, Crayon will be involved in helping companies in India transition to subscription-based Microsoft cloud solutions including Office 365, Microsoft Azure, and Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS).
Microsoft’s program allows customers to “adopt value-added solutions and offerings supporting their specific requirements on the cloud”. Microsoft Cloud Solution Providers build solutions available on a “pay-as-you-go model” that leverage Microsoft’s cloud offerings. Crayon will be able to manage all aspects of the ‘customer life cycle’, meaning its customers can utilize its fully managed services to “customize their IT requirements”.
Crayon, which has Indian headquarters in Mumbai, India, was established in 2014. Alongside cloud services, the company offers a range of services including Software Asset Management, and Cloud Migration and Deployment Services. It will work alongside Indian web hosts, Telcos and ISPs to deliver Microsoft solutions.
