Cloud Management Platform Company Cloudability Acquires Indian Software Company Attribo
Cloud management platform Cloudability has acquired Indian software company Attribo. The company, which has headquarters in Portland, Oregon, USA, offers a range of cloud cost management solutions designed for finance, engineering and management departments. The solutions offer a range of features (including budget alerts) which make cloud costs and usage information visible and accessible. Attribo, which has headquarters in Karnataka, India, was previously one of Cloudability's competitors.

Cloudability's purchase of Attribo comes only a few months after its purchase of CloudVertical, another competitor. Financial aspects of the deal were not released. "Attribo trials are no longer available...", suggests Attribo's website. "Cloudability can help... The Attribo team has partnered with Cloudability to provide an alternative tool to help you manage and optimize your company’s cloud costs." The website goes on to offer potential customers a free Cloudability trial, while existing customers can migrate to Cloudability "as part of an exclusive offer".

"Tools like Cloudability are needed to safely navigate the complex and risky journey from datacenter to cloud without getting bogged down or worse," explained Mat Ellis, the CEO and Founder of Cloudability in a company press release. "As our customer base expands, we are seeing more and more companies standardize their best practices using Cloudability to speed up cloud adoption and maintain financial control."
