Cloud Operating System Provider CloudLinux Launches New Imunify360 Version
Cloud operating system provider CloudLinux has launched a new version of Imunify360 - its AI-powered automated security solution. CloudLinux has headquarters in Arcadia, California, United States. The company’s CloudLinux solution is a secure and stable version of Linux which web hosts utilize extensively, particularly shared hosting providers. Around 80,000 installations of the solution have been installed since inception. Imunify360 protects against digital attacks and “keeps your web servers safe” from infections. The latest iteration of the software, Version 3, improves malware blocking capabilities.

Built for Linux VPS, dedicated and shared servers, Imunify360 utilizes “herd immunity” and a “six-layer approach” to protecting against a range of threats. It includes an advanced firewall and antivirus malware scanning alongside IDS/IPS protection and reputation management. It operates on CloudLinux OS 6 and 7, CentOS 6 and 7, RHEL 6 and 7 and supports cPanel and Plesk control panels. Compared to the previous version, which was released in March 2017, Imunify360 now “blocks 10 times more of malicious IPs”. The latest version also enhances malware scans and improves malware detection. The new release “receives four million security-related events each day with an eightfold decrease in false positives”.

“We have made tremendous improvements in Imunify360 since it was first released a year ago,” explained the CEO of CloudLinux, Igor Seletskiy. “Based on the feedback collected from our customers, as well as a substantial technological development, our team is able to ensure that Imunify360 delivers great Web server protection to our customers.”
