DigitalOcean has appointed Lysa Dahlin to the position of Chief People Officer. Based in New York, United States, DigitalOcean offers a scalable cloud platform that makes application deployment and management less complex. Established in 2011, the company offers virtual hosting, cloud infrastructure, virtual server services, and ‘Kubernetes-as-a-Service’. It was in the news last year for the launch of a PostgreSQL Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS) service. Ms Dahlin’s role at the company will to oversee DigitalOcean’s global “people experience”, operations and acquisition activity.
From Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States, Ms. Dahlin brings considerable experience to her new role. Prior to joining DigitalOcean she was Acting Chief People Officer at NameCongruex where she was in charge of people growth, acquisitions and integration of assets. Before this she was Principal at Cardinal Leadership and spent 11 years at Comcast as Senior Vice President Human Resources. She also held executive positions at AT&T Broadband, Progress Software and TJX/Marshalls. Ms. Dahlin has a Bachelor of Science in Communications and Public Relations and an MBA from Sawyer Business School at Suffolk University.
