Cloud Service Provider Iland Launches Data Center in Australia
Cloud service provider iland Cloud (Iland) has launched a new data center in Australia. Iland, which has global headquarters in Houston, Texas, United States, was established in 1995. The award-winning company specializes in secure and complaint Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS), and Backup-as-a-Service (BaaS) options. Its proprietary ‘iland Secure Cloud Console’ “natively combines deep layered security, predictive analytics, and compliance” to offer highly visible management for each of iland’s offerings. Iland’s new data center joins its network of facilities throughout America, Europe, Australia and Asia.

Iland’s new center is a response to continued interest for its services in Australia. Located in Melbourne, the center caters to the company’s enterprise customers, its partners and regional Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) providers. The facility will provide Iland’s full range of secure cloud offering. It will also enable customers to meet Australia’s data sovereignty requirements while replicating cloud services between Melbourne and Sydney. This is the company’s ninth facility to date and compliments its cloud regions in Singapore and Sydney. The facility has achieved ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI, ITIL, BS10012, HIPAA, and CJIS certifications.

“We are thrilled to be extending our award-winning secure cloud services to Melbourne. Our partners and customers need more options in APAC and we are ready to deliver our enterprise-class secure cloud, disaster recovery and backup services,’ explained iland’s Director for APAC Region, Tony Stratton.
