Cloud Services Company SAP Launches Cloud Options in New Zealand
Cloud services company SAP Australia and New Zealand has launched a series of "Unified Cloud" options in New Zealand. Established in 1989, SAP Australia and New Zealand is a subsidiary of Walldorf, Germany-based SAP AG, which operates in around 130 countries and caters to 29 million cloud users worldwide.

SAP Australia and New Zealand is also introducing a "localised" version its SAP Business ByDesign option to the New Zealand market. SAP Business ByDesign is an integrated package of software solutions that allow companies to manage all aspects of their activity - including human resources, sales, procurement, customer service, and supply chain - all in the cloud. The localized version will include tweaks for the New Zealand market with local formats for employment, financial, and New Zealand tax requirements.

Alongside the introduction of its cloud options, the company has invested in local partnerships in New Zealand. The company has also added to the sales delivery team that supports its partners with personnel that include Tony Armfield, SuccessFactors Area Vice President, Australia and New Zealand, and Keir Garrett, Head of SAP Cloud Solutions for New Zealand.

SAP’s cloud solutions are built on the SAP HANA Cloud Platform which allows users to establish hybrid clouds that include SAP and non-SAP cloud, and in-house solutions. The solutions are also provided through standards compliant data centers. The company is also launching SuccessFactors in New Zealand - which "helps organizations align strategy with objectives and manage people performance to ensure execution and results" - and Ariba - which extends company's internal systems to connect with their supply chain.

"New Zealand organizations of all sizes now have access to SAP’s industry, business-process and integration expertise in a flexible, opex deployment model," explained SAP New Zealand's Managing Director, Graeme Riley.
