Cloud Services Provider Citrix Acquires Cloud-based Electronic Signature Company RightSignature
Cloud services provider Citrix has acquired Santa Barbara, California-based electronic signature company RightSignature. RightSignature offers an e-signature solution which is integrated with Citrix ShareFile and enables users to run “paperless” offices by getting documents electronically signed. Financial details of the deal were not announced, but it was confirmed that RightSignature’s staff will be absorbed by Citrix.

Citrix specializes in options that provide cloud-based mobile workspaces and virtualization. Its options offer secure workspaces that offer access to the “apps, desktops, data and communications” that drive a company’s business operations. The company generated revenue of $2.9 billion in 2013 and it caters to around 330,000 business and 100 million users globally. Its acquisition of RightSignature allows Citrix to enhance ShareFile by providing e-signature capability.
