‘Platform Aggregated Cloud Solution’ provider
PacHosting has added private cloud options to its suite of services. Founded in 2002, PacHosting has headquarters in Hong Kong and specializes in Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) solutions. Its new cloud options have been introduced with a clear focus on small businesses in mind. Alongside its new private cloud offerings its products include public cloud hosting, business email, public cloud and managed solutions.
PacHosting’s public and private IaaS options also include dedicated servers, offsite cloud backup, private network, and “on-demand PaaS for development and cloud bursting”. The company utilizes data centers in Hong Kong and Singapore and caters to organizations of all sizes, including SMEs, and government organizations. Its standardized IaaS offerings can be deployed within 60 minutes.
Private clouds are “workload-centric computing” environments that offer a high degree of data privacy. In addition, as they are managed by a third-party provider, they allow companies to avoid hardware, virtualization implementation and maintenance costs. Private clouds also help companies to maximize their Return on Investment (ROI). A PacHosting single-tenant scalable privately owned cloud environment costs only HK$888 (US$114.58) per month. Users can start with a single hypervisor node and transition to a “more complex design from a range of IaaS components” as their business requirements dictate.
