Skyscape Cloud Services has won the “Digital Leaders 100 Award” in the “Industry” category. The announcement was made on June 18, 2014 at an awards ceremony at the Congress Center in London, United Kingdom in the presence of key industry players and British government officials.
Skyscape offers a range of tailored services that are accredited by CESG Pan Government Accreditor (PGA) and cater to the public sector in the United Kingdom. The company’s services offer a true “pay-as-you-use” model and the company has been certified as a UK Public Services Network (PSN) service provider.
Skyscape has its own partnership network - the Skyscape Cloud Alliance Partners - which includes companies like VMware, Cisco, EMC and QinetiQ. It is part of the G-Cloud Framework – a British government initiative designed to provide a directory of approved providers that can help local governments and government agencies in the UK move to the cloud and ultimately save taxpayers’ money. The company has been awarded numerous contracts as a result of its involvement in the framework.
The Digital Leaders 100 list represents key “digital innovators” within the United Kingdom. Alongside winning the award for the “Industry” category, Skyscape ranked tenth overall in the complete Digital Leaders 100 list. “It is a great honor to have secured a win at this year’s Digital Leaders 100 Awards,” explained Skyscape’s CEO, Phil Dawson. “It has certainly been an exciting few months for our rapidly growing company.
