Cloud solutions provider Total Uptime Technologies is now using infrastructure and cloud hosting provider
Peer 1's data center facilities in the United States and the United Kingdom. The move is designed to better serve Total Uptime's global customer base by enhancing reliability and availability. The two organizations have been cooperating for around three years and Total Uptime Technologies has now joined Peer 1's Smart Partner Program - a program that generates revenue streams for Peer 1 and its network of partners.
Total Uptime establishes virtual duplicates of its Internet-based customers’ hosting platforms to ensure uptime should a datacenter service fail. The company has worked with Peer 1 to ensure failovers are operational for its North American and European customers. There have been no issues impacting uptime in any datacener where Total Uptime colocates infrastructure since 2011.
To ensure minimal latency, Peer 1 underpins Total Uptime’s services with anycast failover capabilities that redirect failovers to the node nearest potential receivers, rather than a specified endpoint. Offering anycast failover is a highly technical endeavor requiring network connectivity that doesn't falter. As a result, a very limited number of providers can offer the service.
