Cloud Strategy Company Evolve IP Acquires Cloud Communications Company Mtel
Cloud strategy company Evolve IP has acquired cloud communications company Mtel. With headquarters in Wayne, Pennsylvania, United States, Evolve IP’s services include cloud computing, cloud communications services, virtual data center services, disaster recovery, virtual desktops and IP phone systems. The company caters to a range of industries including healthcare, legal, insurance, and banking companies. Its acquisition of Mtel is a “strategic purchase” in line with its growth strategy.

Mtel, which has headquarters in Voronezh, Russia, was established in 1999. The company prides itself on offering “best-of-breed cloud communications solutions” such as contact centers and business collaboration tools. Like Evolve IP it provides “highly-tailored” services through data centers in Europe. The acquisition of Mtel brings Evolve IP “on-continent technical, support, development and sales and marketing personnel to back the region’s growth.” Financial aspects of the deal have not been announced.

“The synergies between our two companies, including our shared blue-chip technology architecture, commitment to customer experience and the commonalities in our corporate culture make this acquisition an incredible fit,” explained Evolve IP’s President Guy Fardone. “We are looking forward to working closely with our new associates to develop new products and services that will grow the region and benefit all of Evolve IP’s customers across the globe.”
