Cloud web host
Everleap has partnered with website security and PCI compliance provider SiteLock. As a result of the partnership, Everleap will exclusively offer SiteLock's website security and acceleration suite to its cloud website hosting customers.
Developed by DiscountASP.NET leader Host Collective, Pasadena, California-based Everleap offers developers options "positioned between traditional hosting and the new generation of big cloud services". The company was established in 2014 and has data centers in both Pasadena and Irvine, California. It specializes in providing scalable cloud services that are easy to manage and avoid the complex pricing policies that burden other providers. Services include options like load balanced shared and reserved cloud servers, and SQL and MySQL databases offered on fixed price terms.
Everleap leverages the Windows Azure Pack platform and by using fully load balanced cloud servers, the company is able to maintain 100% uptime. Instant server access is offered and additional resources can be added to servers if required. Everleap also offers single customers a fully managed private cloud server service with a dedicated CPU and no "idle time-out" or "concurrent connection restrictions".
SiteLock's global website security technology options are provided to around 1 million online businesses. SiteLock prevents malware from impacting websites or the site's visitors. Its services include malware scanning and vulnerability detection. In addition, automatic malware removal is offered alongside advanced web application firewalls and global CDN.
"Our decision to move forward with SiteLock website security was a result of their comprehensive Find, Fix, Prevent, Accelerate and Comply product solution set," explained Everleap's VP Business Development, Takeshi Eto. "Of specific importance to the team here at Everleap was SiteLock's enhanced security Web Application Firewall -- TrueShield, along with their TrueSpeed acceleration component, which speeds up website performance using SiteLock's global CDN (Content Delivery Network)."
