Content Management System (CMS) provider Episerver
has been listed in Gartner’s 2017 ‘Magic Quadrant for Web Content Management’. Episerver, which has headquarters in New Hampshire, United States, and Stockholm, Sweden, was established in 1994. The company “connects digital commerce and digital marketing” to enable companies to “create unique digital experiences for their customers”.
Episerver offers a single platform providing tools for content, commerce, and analytics. Its ‘Digital Experience Cloud’ can be deployed both as Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) on Microsoft Azure or on-premises. This is the third year in a row Episerver has been listed in Gartner’s ‘Magic Quadrant’. Gartner, which has headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, United States, is a research company offering technology-related intelligence that customers use to base decisions on.
Gartner defines Web Content Management (WCM) as “the process of controlling content for consumption over digital channels through the use of specific management tools based on a core repository”. Its "Magic Quadrant for Web Content Management" listing recognizes leaders in the area. Episerver was evaluated against 18 other vendors and recognized for “completeness of vision and ability to execute”.
