Colocation, cloud, and IaaS provider NetActuate, Inc. (NetActuate) has upgraded its data center and launched hybrid cloud services at its data center in San Jose, California, United States. NetActuate, which has headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware, United States, was established in 2005. The company operates “one of the largest globally connected IPv4+IPv6 networks in the world” and specializes in offering “low-latency infrastructure solutions” that leverage its ‘BGP Anycast’ platform solutions. Its services extend to virtual and bare metal infrastructure alongside colocation services. NetActuate’s customer base includes “some of the largest, and most well-known companies in the world”. Its new suite of hybrid cloud services comes alongside new 100G connection capabilities at its San Jose location.

NetActuate’s global network offers customers in San Jose access to over 2,500 peers and transit connections in the Bay Area. It also offers “transport and secure cloud connect options into Equinix, Coresite” and other key cloud platforms. NetActuate has upgraded its Juniper network at its San Jose data center and now offers a range of flexible solutions to businesses with “high density power needs”. It also offers optimized network routes for Asia and mainland China. Alongside its upgrade and new 100G connection capabilities, NetActuate has initiated a range of solutions including IaaS, cloud, colocation and managed services.

“Much of today’s digital economy is driven largely by the growth of content, social media, software, cloud, and service companies in Silicon Valley,” explained NetActuate’s, CEO, Mark Mahle. “The upgrades to our San Jose datacenter will provide the fast, reliable and secure connections our clients need to reach their customers and business partners in Silicon Valley – and around the world.”
