Community Health, Inc., the largest hospice provider in the Carolinas. Community Health will utilize Peak 10’s Enterprise Cloud Plus offering to enhance its technology environment through a virtualized platform that has fully-managed hosting security and backup services.
“Our organization was planning a complete technology refresh which was the perfect time to engage a trusted IT solutions provider like Peak 10,” said Jonathan Williams, the IT manager of Community Health. “We were so impressed by the customized enterprise cloud solution they offered us. They took the time to flesh out the components of our existing environment and implemented the new components that we wanted to add.”
As part of Peak 10’s Enterprise Cloud Plus offering, Community Health utilizes a new dedicated cluster of Virtual Machine (VM) host servers which results in a more efficient, scalable, high-performance and cost-effective IT environment. The virtual cluster provides multiple layers of protection, availability and fault tolerance to protect applications and operating systems based on their importance to the business. The virtual cluster in many ways removes the need for server downtime when compared to a traditional server environment.
