Compliance and risk management technology provider TrustArc has formed a partnership with cloud giant
Alibaba Cloud. TrustArc, which has headquarters in San Francisco, California, United States, was established in 1997. The company offers an SaaS-based ‘Data Privacy Management Platform’ that addresses “all phases of privacy program management” with solutions that include TRUSTe certification solutions. It caters to around 1,000 customers globally. The partnership will make TrustArc solutions available to Alibaba Cloud's customers.
Alibaba Cloud (also known as ‘AliCloud’ and ‘Aliyun’) was launched in 1999. Under the leadership of Executive Chairman and founder Jack Ma, the company is China’s leading cloud provider. With headquarters in Singapore, Alibaba Cloud’s services include cloud computing, data management and ‘Big Data’ solutions that are available to customers both in China and globally. News of the partnership was announced at the IAPP Asia Privacy Forum 2017 held in Singapore 24-25 July 2017 and comes in the wake of a recent partnership with Indian telecommunications solutions and services provider Tata Communications.

"Our partnership with TrustArc gives our customers access to industry leading privacy risk management technology to maintain the highest standards of data protection and privacy."
