Computing and Data Center IaaS Provider Expedient Announces New Hires in Memphis
Computing and data center Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) provider Expedient has announced new hires in Memphis, Tennessee, United States. Expedient, which has global headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States, was established in 2001. Its HIPAA, PCI DSS, and SOC-compliant services extend to managed data storage, collocation, managed servers, virtualization options and disaster recovery. The company has operations in a number of key US cities. Amit Kanda joins the company as Vice President for the Memphis market and Johnny Earnest joins as Solutions Architect in the same region.

Amit Kanda joins Expedient from EVS Corporation (EVS) where he held the role of Vice President of IT and Business Development. At EVS he was in charge of engineering and operations teams and managing technology and service innovation. At Expedient he will be in charge of driving growth in the Memphis market.

Johnny Earnest joins Expedient from Ericsson's Global Services Cloud Center of Excellence where he oversaw the launch of Ericsson's new ‘Hyperscale Datacenter System’ servers. Prior to this he held positions at HP specializing in computing, cloud, and big data. In his new role he will oversee consulting services at Expedient and developing and implementing IT solutions that meet customer requirements.
