Customer Success Platform Provider Salesforce Acquires Cloud-based Analytics Solution Provider Coolan
Customer success platform provider Salesforce has acquired cloud-based analytics solution provider Coolan. Salesforce, which has headquarters in San Francisco, California, United States, was established in 1999. A globally recognized brand, the company offers a range of services, particularly cloud-based Contact Relations Management (CRM) software. Alongside this the company also offers cloud solutions and recently moved into the area of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions. Financial aspects of Salesforce’s purchase of Coolan have not been revealed.

Cooloan is an Israeli startup that has headquarters listed as being in San Mateo, California, United States. The company, co-founded by Facebook and Google hardware engineer Amir Michael, specializes in software for data center management. Salesforce will absorb Coolan’s solutions to add value to its infrastructure

“Today, I’m thrilled to share the news that Coolan has signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by Salesforce,” explained Mr. Michael on Coolan’s blog. “The team and I are excited to join the world’s #1 CRM company, once the transaction closes.”

“Once the transaction has closed, the Coolan team will help Salesforce optimize its infrastructure as it scales to support customer growth around the world,” he added.
