Cybersecurity and managed security services provider
Trustwave and telecommunications provider Sure have announced a new partnership. Trustwave, which has headquarters in Chicago, Illinois, United States and offices in London, United Kingdom and Sydney, Australia, was established in 1995. A Singtel company, it caters to a broad customer base in 96 countries, offering services that enable businesses to “fight cybercrime, protect data and reduce security risk”. These include managed security and security testing options alongside cybersecurity education services. The partnership will see Trustwave’s solutions provided through Sure’s data centers in the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, both of which are located off the coast of the United Kingdom.
A member of the Batelco Group, Sure has headquarters on Guernsey - another island off the UK. The company caters to “consumers, corporate and public sector clients” and specializes in offshore services with a particular focus on islands like Guernsey, the Isle of Man, Jersey, the Falkland Islands, St Helena, Ascension Island and Diego Garcia. Its range of services extend to data center and enterprise solutions, mobile and broadband services, and fixed line telephone options. The partnership will see Sure offer Trustwave’s managed security services and cybersecurity solutions. Trustwave has architected and developed a platform that will be deployed within Sure’s Channel Island data centers.
“Our alliance with Sure leverages our expertise in delivering world-class managed security services to detect, protect and remediate persistent attacks from adversaries who are invariably refining techniques to gain access to an organization’s critical assets,” explained Trustwave’s General Manager, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Barry O’Connell. “We look forward to working with Sure to help businesses solve these complex security challenges.”
