CloudLayer8 (CL8.com) has announced the launch of a new public cloud. CL8.com, which has headquarters in Limassol, Cyprus, offers a wide range of web hosting products and services including dedicated servers, collocation, managed services and cloud and security solutions. Underpinned by the OnApp cloud management platform, the company’s new public cloud is Cyprus’s “most advanced public cloud service” to date.
CL8.com’s fully automated self-service cloud hosting service targets business customers in Cyprus, Greece and the Middle East. The platform is designed to support businesses of all sizes in a number of industries including banking and finance, real estate, shipping, and energy. The platform is driven by an “independent, Tier III data center” in Limassol which is “the most modern data center on the island”.
CL8.com’s cloud “takes full advantage of the automated provisioning, flexible billing and self-service capabilities of the OnApp cloud platform” and offers “pre-configured and custom cloud instances”. The cloud also benefits from the OnApp Federation – a global network of OnApp clouds that helps businesses expand internationally and offers CL8.com a global footprint and significant global reach.
