The company has achieved SSAE 18 SOC 1 and SOC 2 certification.
TurnKey Internet’s latest certification applies to its data center in New York, United States. SSAE 18 was previously called as SSAE 16 (or SAS 70). The SOC 1 standard applies to a company’s financial reporting and addresses internal financial controls. The SOC 2 standard addresses a company’s operations and compliance controls. Achieving both requires a company submit to a stringent auditing procedure, which in this case was offered by SOC audit specialists The Moore Group CPA, LLC.
The auditing considered several key areas including “security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy”. By achieving SOC 1 and 2 TurnKey Internet's data center is recognized as offering integrity, and reliability. It is also recognized as offering robust levels of security. Alongside these certifications, TurnKey Internet also achieved HIPAA compliance, meaning it complies with federal and state government HIPAA regulations in the United States.
