) and global telcom AT&T have announced they are expanding their relationship. Equinix has headquarters in Redwood City, California, United States. The company’s range of internet services include a broad range of enterprise solutions available through its network of carrier-neutral centers. AT&T has expanded its network into Equinix Data Centers to facilitate on-demand capabilities for businesses.
AT&T is a globally recognized brand with headquarters in Dallas, Texas, United States. The company employs more than 220,000 people globally and its services extend to wireless services, enterprise applications and managed hosting solutions. Its expanded relationship with Equinix will make AT&T Switched Ethernet Services with Network on Demand available to businesses that utilize services at Equinix International Business Exchange (IBX) data centers.
AT&T Switched Ethernet Service with Network on Demand offers a range of features designed to enable businesses to be “more agile and competitive” through the utilization of hosting, voice, data and video applications. The system is designed to allow customers to quickly upgrade networks and add additional bandwidth when required. With the solution available through Equinix, companies will be better able to “support business-critical apps and maximize workforce productivity and collaboration”.
