Data Center Consultancy MigSolv Awarded European Commission’s Data Center Code of Conduct Award 2013
Data center consultancy MigSolv (Migration Solutions) has been awarded the European Commission’s "Data Center Code of Conduct" award for 2013. The award is a response to its efforts to establish the ‘green standard’ as an industry best practice. Other winners included Arm, CapGemini, Equinix, CEA-DAM, Ebay, Unilever and Panduit Europe.

MigSolv is Europe’s leading specialist data center consultancy and operates its own data center in Norwich, United Kingdom. The company offers advice on designing, operating and migrating data centers. Being a data center operator, the company's consultancy services are pertinent to the industry's needs and entirely up-to-date.

The Data Center Code of Conduct promotes greater efficiency and power saving within the European data center industry with the aim of reducing its environmental impact through the promotion of data center best practices. MigSolv received the "Data Center Code of Conduct" award as a response to it endorsing a "record number" of new participants to the program.

“I’m delighted with this recognition of our work to make data Centers both more efficient and more environmental," explained Alex Rabbetts, Managing Director at MigSolv. "MigSolv was at the forefront of the establishment of the Code five years ago and has been promoting it ever since because it makes good sense for our clients, our industry and our planet. The Code of Conduct has gone from strength to strength with over 250 companies now participating and I‘m very proud of my company’s role in the success of this initiative."
