Data center provider EdgeConneX
has announced the launch of a new facility in Portland, Oregon, United States. EdgeConneX specializes in creating “purpose-built, edge-of-network infrastructure solutions that extend the Internet’s reach”. The company prides itself on delivering “the fastest and most secure delivery of content, cloud services and applications” and providing a “more secure, reliable and cost effective distribution model for the Internet”. Its new Portland Edge Data Center Cloud Ecosystem has been developed alongside companies like Ciena, Electric Lightwave, Megaport, Opus Interactive and ScienceLogic.
EdgeConneX’s on-demand services offer customers “direct access to top cloud providers” through the provision of cutting-edge infrastructure monitoring, performance measurement and interconnection. Alongside network access the company provides managed services including private, hybrid and public cloud offerings with connectivity to Amazon Web Services (AWS) Direct Connect.
The launch of the new facility will be celebrated at the leftbank annex in Portland on Thursday, May 19 from 16:00 to 19:00. Those in the Portland / Hillsboro metro area that are interested in learning more about how EdgeConneX can benefit their companies are invited to attend.
