DC BLOX has acquired cloud solutions provider Infrapoint, LLC (Infrapoint). DC BLOX, which has headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, was established in 2014. The company offers an extensive suite of services including colocation, managed hosting, virtualization, and backup options. Its acquisition of Infrapoint is intended to accelerate the adoption of hybrid IT solutions in the southeast of the United States.

The company offers “expert powered infrastructure” and its expertise lies in managed hosting, “petabyte scale cloud storage” and disaster recovery solutions. The company also has an extensive partner channel that provides managed services using Infrapoint’s solutions. While financial aspects of the deal were not released, it was announced that DC BLOX will fully absorb Infrapoint's customers and staff.
"DC BLOX is excited to join forces with the Infrapoint team in meeting the IT infrastructure needs of businesses in the southeastern U.S.," explained the CEO of DC BLOX, Jeff Uphues. "Adding expertise in cloud infrastructure and services, an enhanced channel presence and a platform on which to build new solutions will give us a significant competitive advantage."
