Data Center Services Provider HostDime Begins Accepting Bitcoin Cryptocurrency
Data center services provider HostDime.com, Inc. has begun accepting payments using the Bitcoin cryptocurrency. The company, which has its headquarters in Florida, USA, offers a range of cloud services including managed hosting and colocation services. It caters to a 50,000-strong global customer base which includes businesses of a range of sizes.

HostDime customers are now able to use Bitcoin to pay for its full range services at its branches in the USA and Brazil. In the near future, this unique form of payment will be made available at its Hong Kong, Dutch, Mexican, British, Colombian and Indian branches. The company has partnered with BitPay to facilitate Bitcoin payments. BitPay's infrastructure offers seamless integration with HostDime’s CORE proprietary system, so customer payment will simply be a matter of point and click using the standard HostDime customer account interface.

“Bitcoin is the currency of the future, and as a company that constantly looks towards the future, we could not wait to be a part of this revolution,” explained HostDime Brazil's CEO, Filipe Mendes. "In the hosting and data center industry, HostDime is leading the way with Bitcoin acceptance, with the expectation that distributors, providers, and employees will follow suit. HostDime will hold some bitcoins and pay vendors who also accept it to keep the cycle growing".
